  • It’s quick and easy! This nice cream is ready in about 5 minutes. All you need to do is add all of the ingredients to a blender or food processor and then process until smooth. Pour it into a bowl and add your favorite topping, e.g. nut crunch, slices of banana, or maybe some extra peanut butter.
  • It’s healthy! Using only 3 ingredients – banana, peanut butter, and cocoa powder – this is a healthy recipe. No cream, no whole milk, and no added sugar.
  • Use it as a dessert or snack! You can use it as a nice dessert after a lovely dinner or a snack during the day.

How to Make Chocolate Peanut Butter Nice Cream

Peal three very ripe bananas and put them in a freezer-proof container or plastic bag. Leave them overnight in your freezer or until solid frozen.

When ready – cut the bananas into coins and add them to a food processor or blender, together with the cocoa powder and peanut butter. Now process everything until smooth. Make sure to scrape down the sides when needed.

Eat your nice cream right away if you like soft-serve consistency. If you like it a bit harder, put it in a freezer-proof container and freeze for a couple of hours.

Can I Use Peanut Powder Instead of Peanut Butter?

Yes, you can!

Personally, I prefer peanut butter over powder. I think it gives a better consistency and smoothness to the nice cream. But there is nothing wrong with using powder instead. If you do, I suggest using 2 tbsp peanut powder.
